What is your most memorable Halloween experience?

I was the Incredible Hulk a few years ago, and I left the bar realizing I had no money and no ATM card, so I walked home in a pair of gray shorts and sandals. When I got home, I tripped and hit my head on a filing cabinet. I still have a scar from that. Then the next day, I was at a party for all of about a minute and fell in a window well. Unbelievable.

I grew up in Hawaii, and I was a sophomore in high school. I didn’t have a costume because I spilled bacon grease and cookie batter on my leprechaun outfit. So two of us did what we could and went as Alice in Wonderland, but very odd versions. Hers had an orange skirt, cone breasts and tin foil and rainbow-colored cellophane. Mine had a black sheer top, a mini skirt, bow tie and bunny ears. We went to this party and were still doing shots of tequila with the sun coming up. I went home, took a shower, drank some coffee and ate a donut and went to school with my shirt inside out. In my first class, my teacher asked, “Is that a glow stick in your mouth?” It was. I couldn’t believe it. I said, “Yes sir.”

I was going to a party, but three friends of mine decided to go to a bar. Before they left, they raided my roommate’s closet and found three costumes to wear: Winnie the Pooh, the Hamburglar and a box of French fries. I didn’t go with them and was happy with that decision.

When I was in college, I went as Roller Girl from the movie “Boogie Nights.” I had the old-school sneaker roller skates. The night started off at a bar and ended up out in the country at a bonfire. Imagine trying to get around in the dark on dirt and rocks in roller skates. I busted my ass more than I care to admit.

My mom allowed me to wear makeup when I was seven when I dressed up like a princess. I felt so special. It was my favorite Halloween I think.

I was 19 in Florida, and hosted the best Halloween party ever. We had a pinata and a good 75 guys from a local Navy ship come through my party. I bought my outfit from Frederick’s of Hollywood. Lots of lace, cat ears and a kitty tail, the whole bit. We went through 35 trays of jello shots that night.

While studying abroad in Rome, we had to have decorations mailed in from the U.S. to use in our dorm. We gave out candy to our Dean’s kids and their Italian classmates, and then the school provided free alcohol for the rest of the night.
