This month’s question: How did you spend your best day of the summer?

Kate | 26, River North
“A day at Oak Street Beach. It was a nice Saturday with perfect weather — not too hot. We started things off with a couple of margaritas at Cactus before we walked down to the beach. We should’ve brought beers, but they were too heavy to carry with the ice.”

Courtney | 23 River North
“Watching the boats on Venetian Night. The temperature was right, and all the Chicago sports teams were represented. They even had a Blues Brothers boat, which was cool. I really like Christmas lights, so it was perfect.”

Mike | 30, Streeterville
“The bleachers at Wrigley with a barbecue at a friend’s house afterward.”

Meredith | 32, River North
“Lounging in the air-conditioned pool followed by dinner at the Buddha Bar. I was living in Dubai this summer.”

Dave | 27, Rogers Park
“Sitting in the second row at Wrigley as the Cubs beat the Brewers, and then having a celebratory barbecue afterward. At least six beers were consumed. After that, it gets fuzzy.”

Megan | 28, Rogers Park
“Kicking my husband’s ass on the golf course. I can’t give you exact proof, but I’m pretty sure it happened.”

Carrie | 32, Roscoe Village
“Going to the doggy park with my dog for the first time. Seeing her swim way out in Lake Michigan for the first time with the whole side of the beach cheering for her was great. She kept chickening out at first, but she finally made it out to get her toy.”

Chris | Roscoe Village
“I only got to golf once this year, but it was a scramble on a perfect day with 10 of my best friends from college. Although we came in last place, it was my best day.”
