This month’s question:
What is the best restaurant you’ve been to recently?

Katie | 30, Logan Square
“Le Colonial (937 N. Rush). The Chilean sea bass is out of this world, and the atmosphere is so cool. You can lounge there or have a great sit-down meal.”

Allyson | River North
“Macello (1235 W. Lake). It’s just this great space in an old slaughterhouse in the Warehouse District. Their thin-crust pizza from wood-burning ovens are great. I’m into all things West Loop.”

Kathryn | Lakeview
“My girls and I discovered Luc Thang (1524 N. Ashland), a tiny, no-frills BYOB place just south of the Hollywood Grill on Ashland. The food is Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese, with lots of choices, and everything we had was very good. Best of all, the bill for four entrées was $18.96. Can’t beat that!”

Megan | Ravenswood
“Agami (4712 N. Broadway) because the sushi is amazing. The service can be a little slow sometimes, but it’s trendy without being pretentious.”

Anna Marie | Roscoe Village
“Turquoise (2147 W. Roscoe) in Roscoe Village. My boyfriend and I went on our first date there. The service was great, and their Mediterranean food (especially the hummus) is really good.”

Jim | Lincoln Square
“Opart Thai House on Western (4658 N. Western). It’s affordable, high-end Thai food. It has excellent portions, is BYOB and has a nice atmosphere.”

Mario | Lakeview
“I don’t know. I seem to be living in a lot of bars lately. I found a nice sewer rat outside the last one, and it was tasty.”

Kristin | Andersonville
“Hot Chocolate (1747 N. Damen) in Bucktown. You can have chocolate for dinner! And it’s got a quaint, laid-back atmosphere.”
